Sittin' Around, Watching the Paint Dry
Crash and I are sitting here in our apartment, working on our computers and watching the paint dry.
Literally.
A little handyman (you know the kind: a short, stooped older man with gray hair, in dirty white overalls, shuffling about with his tools) came in with some paint a few minutes after 9am, and painted our doors a nice shiny white, to cover up some patch marks.
He's gone now, but the water heater guys are here, drilling holes and measuring things and such, replacing our old water heater (which threatened to be on its last legs) with a shiny new one...to go with our shiny new doors.
Watching them work is only slightly more interesting than watching the paint dry.
